What is a non-electronic communication board?
A non-electronic communication board (also known as lite tech board) is a low-tech assistive tool used to support communication for individuals with speech or language difficulties. It typically consists of a flat surface (like paper, cardboard, or plastic) with symbols, pictures, words, or letters that a person can point to in order to express themselves or use partner assisted scanning.
Key Features:

Portable and lightweight

Customized to the user’s needs (e.g., including commonly used words, phrases, or images)

The alphabet (for spelling out words)
