Do you want to focus on mindfulness and acceptance with your children? For anyone not familiar with EFT tapping, check out this website here.
I learned about tapping a few years ago and have found it helpful as an easy and accessible way to reduce anxiety.
Look, Listen, Love written by Noreen O’Sullivan is a parent and children’s guide to emotional freedom tapping. A softcover interactive children’s book, helping children love and accept themselves just the way they are. This book uses animals to teach children the self-awareness and self-acceptance tool EFT Tapping. Included in the book are different animals to help children interact and learn about tapping in a fun and playful way.
For each animal, the author gives examples to learn how to use Look Listen Love. For many children, having examples, especially of animals can help them relate to specific strategies. After each animal, the book gives space for children to add their own Look Listen Love sentences to the book. This strategy helps make both children and adults aware of how you are feeling and giving yourself time to feel the feeling and then accept yourself. Listen to the podcast to learn more!

A native New Yorker, Noreen moved to Europe in the mid-1990s after meeting her husband Lars from Denmark, where they live, and have raised their family of three girls, their dog (Moon), and their horse (Bear).
For many years, Noreen taught preschool and kindergarten in Manhattan at The Episcopal School, followed by several years at Planet Kids and grade school at the Engelska Skolan in Stockholm. In between animal-assisted workshops and sessions, Noreen continues to work as a substitute teacher in the Learning Support Department at the Copenhagen International School in Denmark.

She is published by Hachette- Jessica Kinglsey Publishers for her children’s book “I’ll Tell You Why…I Can’t Wear Those Clothes! (Talking about Tactile Defensiveness)”.
Noreen is particularly passionate about the understanding, acceptance, and parenting of children with emotional issues, developmental delays and sensory issues. She has an in-depth understanding of children, and an extraordinary ability to connect with them and with their parents, helping to bridge the gap of understanding parents often face when raising a child with emotional issues. Noreen is trained in the Natural Lifemanship model of equine assisted relationship building therapy. She is also a certified (U.K.’s Karl Dawson) Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner.
