A Long Walk to Water

A Long Walk to Water

A Long Walk to Water is a narrative of two different people, one occurring in 2008 and another occurring in 1985. This book written by Linda Sue Park is based on a true story. How will these two stories connect?

From the moment I began reading this book, I couldn’t put it down. The stories were so mesmerizing and intense, they made you want to keep reading. The main character in the story, Salva grows up with a beautiful and supportive family until one day everything changes. Nya spends each day walking to a water source getting clean water for her family.

This story is about war, friendship, loss, bravery, and dedication.
